Cllr Liz Wills

I have lived on the Isle of Wight for over 50 years, settling in Bembridge at first and moving to Rookley in 1995.  My children were born and educated on the Island.  We lived in Hong Kong for 8 of those years, but still maintained our home here and came back to the Island every summer.  After returning to the Island (now with 4 children!) I began working at our local primary school.   Since that time my working life was occupied in schools helping children with Special Educational Needs, including behavioural issues. I retired in 2013.  I had joined Rookley Community Association shortly after moving here, and then also the Parish Council, and have remained active in both those areas ever since.
